THERE is a road closure in place this evening, Wednesday, following a crash.
Slag Lane, Lowton, has been closed following the collision.
In a statement earlier this evening shortly before 6pm, Greater Manchester Police said: "Slag Lane closed between Byrom Lane and Garton Drive following a road traffic collision.
"Please find an alternative route to avoid heavy traffic in the area."
Live traffic tracker INRIX stated as of 9pm that Slag Lane was still closed in both directions due to the accident.
