ADVICE has been issued to fans travelling to Leigh Sports Village for tonight's Super League match after a crash has disrupted people's journeys.

There has been an accident on Atherleigh Way, which means the road has been closed from the East Lancs.

In a statement, Leigh Leopards said: "An accident on Atherleigh Way, means the A579 is closed from East Lancs Road.

"We would advise @Saints1890 commuters to follow signs for A572 from Lowton which will direct you towards the ground.

"Anyone travelling from Manchester, use Greyhound exit towards Leigh."

Leigh Leopards host St Helens in tonight's Super League clash.
