A warning has been issued
THE council has issued a warning after a canal bridge got stuck this afternoon, Monday.
Wigan Council sent a warning on social media for motorists over Slag Lane Canal Bridge.
A statement, issued at around 5pm, said: "Slag Lane Canal Bridge is currently stuck, please avoid the area until this can be resolved.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
